A CHARITY dedicated to supporting veterans, former emergency service personnel, and their families, is opening its very first charity shop in Wrexham.
Located at Chester Street in the heart of the Ty Pawb community complex, this marks a significant milestone for Woody's Lodge as the first charity shop in Wrexham dedicated to supporting ex-military and blue light services.
This would not have been possible without the support of Wrexham Council, who have provided Woody's Lodge with the opportunity to occupy one of their properties in the vibrant community hub.

Their partnership has been instrumental in helping the charity establish a presence in Wrexham, where the shop will serve as a vital resource for raising funds and awareness for the essential services Woody's Lodge provides across Wales.
In addition to offering a wide variety of pre-loved clothing, accessories, homeware and more, the shop will feature a unique display of military memorabilia, kindly loaned by local veterans and associations.
These treasured items, which will not be for sale, offer visitors a powerful connection to the history and experiences of those who have served. This display underscores the deep community ties that Woody's Lodge is fostering and serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by our service members.
