THE operator which is taking on the former Debenhams store in Eagles Meadow has been revealed.
The department store closed its doors in May 2021 after the high street chain entered administration.
Several other big retailers have left the shopping centre in recent years, with Marks and Spencer relocating to the Plas Coch retail park in December 2023.
A planning application was submitted in March for part of the Debenhams building to be re-used for leisure purposes after standing empty for nearly three years.
Wrexham Shopping Mall Ltd, which owns Eagles Meadow, revealed at the time that talks had been held with a firm interested in transforming the first floor of the unit into a children’s trampoline park.
Planning application was granted in July, and now it has been revealed that Jump Inc, will take over the site.
They have a number of other locations across the UK including Liverpool, Rotherham, Lincoln and Leeds.
The other sites include trampoline facilities, arcades, laser tag, ninja obstacles and football cages.
There is no timeframe on when the facility will be up and running yet, but updates are set to be provided by Eagles Meadow.

A spokesperson for Eagles Meadow said: "We are delighted to announce that Jump Inc will be joining us at Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre.
"Having a nationally recognised name like Jump Inc joining us is yet another reason to be excited about the future of Wrexham and for Eagles Meadow, we can't wait to see the finished product but for now we can have a sneak peek at what is on the horizon and of course we will be updating along the way.
