POLICE have seen a rise in anti-social behaviour incidents in Flintshire over the last week.

North Wales Police's South Flintshire team say they have been called to deal with several ASB incidents in Victoria Road, Buckley and the Bromfield Park area of Mold.

The incidents include door kicking and throwing eggs at homes, which has caused 'genuine upset' for residents.

The force say that anyone involved will be dealt with robustly.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "Over the last week or so, officers have been called to deal with a number of incidents of ASB in Victoria Road, Buckley and the Bromfield Park area of Mold.

"Anti-social behaviour, such as door kicking and the throwing of eggs at people's homes causes genuine upset for residents, particularly those who are elderly and/or vulnerable.

"Anyone found to be involved in ASB of any kind, can expect to be dealt with robustly.

"Please help us make our communities nicer places to be by ensuring your children are behaving in an acceptable manner whilst they're out and about."

The increase comes a week after the force said that ASB amongst children in Flintshire was becoming a 'common trend' following an incident at Tesco in Holywell.

A spokesperson added: "A common trend is Anti Social Behaviour from children, we're asking you as parents to speak to your children about what's acceptable and what isn't.

"For example, abusing people who are just going about their work in retail premises - Not Ok. Apparently this isn't all that well known!"
