WORK has commenced on a major refurbishment of a much-loved Parish Hall situated in Wrexham.
Following an 18-month closure to the public, Coedpoeth Community Council has confirmed the planned refurbishment on the Parish Hall is now underway.
Construction work began on Monday, July 15 and will last for approximately 10-weeks.
The upgraded building situated at the Old Carnegie Library on Park Road will feature underfloor heating and a cosy embrace to welcome the village through the seasons, not to mention a new sports floor where joy will take its place.
A council spokesperson said: "The Parish Hall is receiving a big refurbishment. With hope, we rebuild this cherished space.
"Please note that the pathways around the hall will be out of bounds so access between Tabor Hill and Park Road will need to be along either the main road or Tudor Street.

The project is being funded by the UK Government Levelling Up which aims to invest over £4.8 billion in infrastructure that improves everyday life across the UK, including regenerating town centres and high streets.
