A FLINTSHIRE animal rescue centre is appealing to the public to find three beautiful dogs their forever home.

Almost Home Dog Rescue, based in Mold, provides a safe haven for abandoned dogs before uniting them with their new home and owner.

It also aims to support and educate the next generation of dog owners to prevent an increase in the number of pets being carelessly neglected.

Anyone interested in the following pups should fill out the adoption form here.

Meet Dingo

This gorgeous boy is around two-years-old and is a lurcher mix. Dingo was an unclaimed stray and Almost Home managed to find a space for him at HQ.

When he arrived he was very hungry but he is on little and often meals. He has quickly discovered that food is regularly available and is slowing down.

Dingo has clearly been someone’s pet at some point in this life. He is one happy boy who loves his exercise.

He also knows basic commands and learns quickly. He's happy to go walking and really enjoys going to new places and taking it all in. He is good in the car and not bothered by passing traffic.

Dingo is an active lad and needs humans who can keep up with him. He could live with or without another dog or with dog savvy children.

He was very well behaved at the vets and was happy to be assessed and passed a full healthcheck. All he needs to do is gain some weight, which will happen in no time.

He has started his vaccinations, been flead, wormed and microchipped. He is booked into be neutered too. Almost Home feel he will go far in the right hands. Someone who wants a true adventure buddy, would be ideal. He adores being with you and being on the go! He has now started to play with toys too.

Meet Frankie

Sadly this boy is back in the care of Almost Home after his adoption failed. More details given at a later stage of the adoption process.

Since arriving back he has been going from strength to strength. He hasn’t stepped a paw wrong!

Frankie came in originally as a stray however he was extremely poorly and Almost Home nearly lost him several times. He has spent a lot of time in the vets and it was likely he had pancreas issues. However, he is now completely signed off and at full speed like any young collie should be.

He is great with people and has been the perfect house guest. Frankie is house-trained and has settled well in his foster home.

He does, however, needs his body and mind exercising daily which will be easy as he ADORES training and playing.

This good boy will make a great adventure buddy and would work well for someone wanting to get involved in other types of training too.

He is super focused with toys and knows basic commands. At approximately 10-months-old, he requires basic direction.

Frankie occasionally barks at dogs but can say hello nicely once he has calmed down. He isn’t aggressive but he is talkative and listens perfectly to his handler when given the right direction. He need someone who’s going to socialise him correctly.

In addition, he travels well and is good with traffic. He has been great with all visitors too. He is a good eater and needs a low fat diet. After a long busy day he will chill and do his thing.

Frankie just wants to find his forever humans. He is young and full on currently but listens. He is ready to be moulded in to whatever you wish. You just have to do the work.
