THE MET Office has confirmed hot spells and humidity this weekend as temperatures rise.
A bright start has been forecast for Friday (August 9) with sunny spells and patchy cloud across north Wales.
Heat and humidity will be building over Sunday and Monday, and it will become very hot for some.

The day with generally be drier with prolonged periods of sunshine by the afternoon with warm temperatures reaching 23C.

Very warm and humid nights are expected on Saturday, with temperatures near average for this time of year.
Sunday will be sunnier and much warmer on with highs of 26C. Higher temperatures will continue on Monday with a chance of thunderstorms later on in the day.
