THE RED Arrows won't be flying over Flintshire and Wrexham tomorrow, it has been confirmed.
They were due to fly over parts of the two counties on Thursday morning on their way to RAF Valley on Anglesey for a private RAF families event.
However, RAF Valley has said there will be no flypasts taking place due to forecasted bad weather.
A spokesperson said: "The predicted bad weather set for this Thursday, has forced us to make a difficult choice. Families Day will continue but without any flying displays.
"As you would expect, we will never compromise on safety. Predicted strong winds, a low cloud base and persistent rain will make a safe and meaningful display very difficult to achieve.
"We have made this decision now to give you adequate warning and also to forestall some of those flying display teams from overseas or travelling long distances from other RAF Stations from having to journey to us. This is indeed disappointing news for all of us, and not least, those of us at 'Team Valley' who have put so much into the planning for this day."
