TO celebrate the end of exams, my partner and I went out to Fouzi's in Rossett and we were very impressed.
The chain, which also has a place in Llangollen, opened their restaurant in Rossett last November in a bid to keep up with the current demand.
We'd visited the one in Llangollen before, but were yet to try out the new place in Rossett, so we decided to book in for a Friday night treat.
With it being a Friday, I booked a table just to be safe and it was a good job we did as it was very busy when we arrived.

With summer finally looking like it had arrived last week, we decided to sit on one of the tables at the front of the restaurant.
The staff were very friendly and quickly sorted us with some menus and drinks as we got our heads down and tried to figure out what we wanted to eat.
We were both hungry so decided starters were a must. The arancini and anti pasta both looked appealing, as did the calamari.
My partner went for the latter, so instead I chose the 'insalata caprese', which equated to tomatoes and mozzarella combined with basil and balsamic vinegar.
With the weather pushing 22C, the caprese was delightfully light and refreshing, leaving room for the main.
The calamari was very good too, lightly battered and nice and crispy, with a lovely aioli to accompany it.
Onto the mains.
There were a host of options, varying from pastas and risotto to steak and a mixed grill, but after spotting a pizza being served inside, there was only one thing we were ordering.
My partner had the equivalent of a meat feast, while I had a Hawaiian (queue the comments).
They were both superb, cooked to perfection and really tasty. Sometimes pizza's can be a bit underdone and fall apart in the middle, but this wasn't the case here.
The slices held up really nicely and were full of flavour, the sign of a good pizza.
The meat feast got rave reviews from my partner, who despite her best efforts, had to have the last few slices boxed up and taken home.
I was really impressed overall. The food was good and relatively well priced, coming to just short of £65 between the two of us.
The staff were helpful and friendly and it is certainly somewhere I would go back again.
