WREXHAM city centre is set to welcome two new businesses this weekend as Chapter Court continues its development.

'Ride the Wave' and 'Red Dragon Vault' are celebrating their launch with a grand opening event on Saturday, August 10.

Starting at 10am until late, the two businesses are thrilled to be joining crafted specialty beer brewery Rough Hands Tap in the new retail development courtyard, expecting to open fully to the public in Spring 2025.

The first to arrive will be greeted with a free glass of wine. There will also be 10% discount on selected items across both stores, a free gift with every purchase for the first 20 customers and plenty of snacks and cakes available.

Apparel Ride the Wave offers stylish and comfortable clothing and accessories inspired by the ocean. Owners Paul and SJ Roberts are proud of their collection featuring hoodies, t-shirts, dungarees, jewellery, changing robes and hair accessories.

Based in Wrexham, Ride the Wave was established in 2022 and has traded online and in Wrexham's markets up until now. Paul and SJ are thrilled to finally be bringing their love of the ocean to their hometown.

Similarly, family-run Red Dragon Vault offers unique 3D models to support neuro-divergent individuals. The models are designed and hand-painted with sensory elements in mind by owners Jon Williams and Beccy Cartwright, who began the business online two-years-ago.

The business has given Jon a new sense of purpose since receiving a devastating neurological diagnosis. It has not only supported his mental health, but has allowed him to start a brand new career he loves and is passionate about.

Going from the online world to launching a shop in Wrexham was an easy decision, says Jon. While Beccy and the children were born in the city, Jon attended the university several years ago to study Computer Networks and Security.

Chapter Court is expected to open fully to the public in Spring 2025. While businesses have gradually started to open in the courtyard, there is still a long way to go for its phased development.

Located in the heart of Wrexham, the courtyard space will provide live entertainment, street food and drinks, as well as plenty of social seating.

There is currently a temporary marquee pavilion installed on-site, offering undercover seating throughout the summer.

Everyone is invited to celebrate the launch of the Court's latest business ventures this weekend.
