POLICE have warned that anyone attending a non-peaceful protest in north Wales this weekend will be 'dealt with'.
Rumours have been circulating on social media that protests could take place across the region.
That comes following the riots which took place in Southport in reaction to the three young girls killed in the Merseyside town earlier this week.
North Wales Police says it 'respects' the public's right to protest - so long as it is peaceful.
The force added that anyone taking part in 'violent' protests, will be 'dealt with'.

A statement read: "Following this week’s events in Southport, and several subsequent incidents nationwide, our officers will be conducting high visibility patrols across the force area this weekend to reassure the public.
"We respect the democratic right to protest, however we would urge anyone exercising that right to do so peacefully.
"Anyone attending a protest or attending in the pursuance of protest who acts in a violent, threatening or disorderly manner can expect to be dealt with in accordance with the criminal law and police powers."
