A LITTLE coffee hut nestled along the Llangollen canal has shared a domino effect act of kindness.

Ivy Wood Coffee is situated along the canal towards the Horseshoe Falls and is the perfect spot for a hot drink or iced cold lemonade.

The business was launched in April this year by Harley Middlehurst who used to own the Vintage Shop in Llangollen. It has been hugely popular with visitors and locals talking a weekend stroll in the beautiful north Wales town.

On Friday morning (August 2) a wonderful act of kindness which inspired multiple other people throughout the day was shared online.

As a result of the card machine being out of action for 30-minutes, a generous couple offered to cover the cost of a customer's order. Their only request was that they pay the gesture forward, to pay for the customer after them.

As a result, nobody paid for their own order throughout the morning, with each customer paying for the next.

Harley's husband Louie was minding the hut when it all happened. He said: "Everyone was passing the love on. Faith in humanity restored.

"It was just a very lovely time with everyone chatting to each other and being so generous. One order was just a few quid for a coffee but the first people paid £7 for coffees and water for the guys paddling the canal and wouldn’t let them take no for an answer!

"Just felt nice that all that could be happening out of something you started at the bottom of your garden."

A wonderful domino effect act of kindness that certainly made everyone smile.
