A FUN-filled family festival is taking place in Wrexham this weekend.
WrexSands is returning to the city centre again this year with its 20-Tonne Sandpit and a host of entertainment.
Based on the Library field, WrexSands is a fully enclosed site, so children can explore and have an adventure with their friends, knowing they're safe and secure.
The event got underway this morning and is on until 6pm. Before it returns on Saturday (August 3) and Sunday (August 4) from 10am until 6pm.
Babies are welcome to enjoy the Sandpit FREE of charge. If you want them to join in with the rides, they will need wristbands for younger children.
Tickets were £10 per child, but ff you don't have a ticket, you can still join the fun by purchasing tickets at the gate for £15.

Organisers have also reminded those attending that WrexSands is a child-focused event and not suitable for dogs. Only assistance dogs are permitted, and you may be asked to show your registration card.
