SPEED monitoring has taken place in a Wrexham village where police say they have received complaints about drivers.
North Wales Police have been keeping an eye on motorists driving through Bangor-on-Dee this morning (August 1).
That comes after the force received 'complaints of speeding' during the morning rush hour.
Officers say that no speeding was witnessed.

However, they added that police presence had a 'major impact' on speeds in the area.
Officers say they will continue to patrol the area over the coming weeks.
A statement from North Wales Police read: "We have received complaints of speeding at morning rush hour in Bangor on Dee from residents.
"As a result, PCSO Dean Sawyer spent this morning patrolling and speed gunning in the area. No speeding was witnessed however the police presence had a major impact on vehicle speeds.
"More patrols and monitoring planned over the coming weeks."
