A SUNDAY Times bestselling author returns to Flintshire, with a special event this month.
The Mold Bookshop is set to host an afternoon tea with author Barbara Erskine, in Harrisons Hall, Gwernymynydd to celebrate the release of her new book, The Story Spinner.
Fans of historical fiction can look forward to an engaging afternoon with the author at the event on August 7, at 1pm.
Tickets at £20 are available from The Mold Bookshop on 01352 759879 or online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/the-moldbookshop
Barbara Erskine is the author of 13 bestselling novels and three collections of short stories that demonstrate her interest in both history and the supernatural. Lady of Hay, her first novel, has now sold more than three million copies worldwide.
Her latest book The Story Spinner is a spellbinding tale of love, ambition, and secrets that have lain silent for over a thousand years.
Caroline Johnson, from The Mold Bookshop, said: "Barbara Erskine is one of my favourite authors and I am delighted she is joining us once again for this event.
"This will be Barbara's third visit to Mold and it promises to be a special occasion for her many fans who will have the opportunity to meet her whilst enjoying a delicious afternoon tea."
