Couple: Karina and Daniel Sheriff, from Brymbo, Wrexham
Wedding: Southsea Church in Brymbo, June 8, 2024
Reception: Maesgwyn Hall
Where/how did you meet? We met at work in the Village Bakery. First of all we didn't like each other but time goes by and our feelings start to be born. Daniel took me on a date to Chester and from that time we are happy together.
Proposal: We got engaged on holiday in the Dominican Republic. That was my first time to go that far away, so the trip itself was so emotional to me.
One beautiful night, Daniel take me and his family for a walk on the beach. After few minutes he asked me the question "Will you marry me?" and of course I say yes! So that was one of my dreams come true.
Where were the dress/suits from? The dream dress was Karen Lesley Bridal Emporium in Northop, and my husband's suit was from Mold, in the Peaky Blinders style.
Flowers, hair/makeup: Fantastic hairdresser Louise and Allison and makeup artist Lois from Avenue Hair Makeup and Beauty in Wrexham.
Who was the photographer/videographer? Our photographer was Kamila Kosior Photography. She was absolutely brilliant and took every opportunity to catch every single moment in our special day.
Best man/bridesmaids: Best man was Daniel's brother Nathan Sheriff. Groomsmen were Daniel's other brother Alex Sheriff and best friend William Smith. Bridesmaids were Daniel's youngest sister Abby Sheriff, friends Laura Lewis and Chantelle Williams.
What was the best part of the day? For both of us it was very special that we could share our big day day with all family and closest friends.
Anyone to thank for helping make the day special? Special thank you for everything goes to our parents Paula Sheriff, Ashley Sheriff, Marzena Szczypa and Artur Szczypa, and also to everyone who attended.
Honeymoon: Fabulous time in Dominican Republic once again. We will never forget this stunning place, it will always bring us romantic memories.
