THOUSANDS of people are expected at an annual carnival in Wrexham next week.
The Wauns Carnival, held at Bradley fields, is set to take place on Saturday, August 10 from 11am-6pm.
A fun-filled day is in store for all the family, with a host of activities and entertainment on offer.
There will be dance shows and dinosaur shows, along with live wrestling, falconry performances and alpaca meet and greets.
As normal, there will be a fun fair, as well as a dog show, donkey rides and a classic car show.
Throughout the day there will be a variety of other entertainment and music, with a number of acts lined up to perform.
There will be over 50 stalls to browse and enjoy, with a range of food and drink options provided.

Gwersyllt Community Council has sponsored 30 picnic benches for the comfort of residents to enjoy.
The popular event is put on by a team of volunteers, who are very much looking forward to the festival, which is free to attend.
A spokesperson for the carnival said: "We expect thousands of wonderful people to join us for a fun filled family day.
"We are looking forward to this wonderful family event all year round. It takes all year to organise. But the smiles on the day make it all worthwhile."
