When and why did you take up photography?

To document my son's football team from the age of six through to 16.

What do you love about taking pictures?

Solitude and the beauty that is around us.

Where is your favourite place to take pictures?

Anywhere that is good for wildlife. The North Wales coast and World's End are two particularly favourites.

What equipment do you use?

Canon R7 with a Sogma 150-600c and a RF800mm lens along with my Samsung Galaxy S20.

What do you enjoy about being part of the Leader Camera Club?

Seeing people's different takes on life.

If you could photograph anyone or any place who/what would it be?

Whale watching in the far North of Iceland.

I was for many years a regular contributor to the Leader sports pages junior football on a Wednesday, and had lots of full page images used.
