A BURST water main is causing significant traffic delays on a main road in Flintshire.
The Leader reported yesterday that burst water mains had happened Chester Road in Pentre in Deeside, as well as Bannel Lane in Buckley.
Today, Bannel Lane remains closed as work to repair the burst takes place.
Bannel Lane was the planned diversion route for motorists affected by the ongoing closure of the A549 Dirty Mile approaching the Dobshill roundabout amid resurfacing works.
Chester Road in Pentre is closed at the junction with Leaches Lane/Rectors Lane.
Local councillor, Dee Milner, said: "It's a bit of a nightmare traffic-wise as artic trucks/wagons are ignoring signs then going up through Mancot."
