NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 10 of Flintshire’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: McDonalds at Deeside Retail Park, Evans Way, Flintshire; rated on July 22

• Rated 5: PizzaExpress at PizzaExpress (Restaurants) Limited, Unit 20 Broughton Shopping Park, Chester Road Broughton, Flintshire; rated on July 16

• Rated 5: Cafe at Deeside Leisure Centre at Deeside Leisure Centre, Chester Road West Queensferry, Flintshire; rated on July 2

• Rated 5: Cafe at Asda Living at 17 Broughton Shopping Park, Chester Road Broughton, Flintshire; rated on July 1

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And three ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: The Central Hotel at Wetherspoons, 2-4 Chester Road West Shotton, Flintshire; rated on July 18
