NORTH Wales Police closed down a stretch of the A483 last night following a road traffic collision (Monday, July 29).
The incident took place at approximately 10.30pm between Junction 5 Wrexham and Junction 6 Gresford southbound.

Traffic came to a stand still before being turned around. The stretch of road was then temporarily closed while emergency services attended the scene.
Several witnesses report the incident to be 'serious' involving two vehicles.
Traffic Wales has confirmed the road officially reopened at approximately 12.40am.
North Wales Police have been approached for comment.
