A 'PARTY' event in Flintshire, offering fun for all the family, proved to be a 'great success' over the weekend.

'Party in Fron Park' took place between 11am and 4pm on Saturday, July 27.

Activities were hosted at both Fron Park itself and at the nearby Holywell Leisure Centre.

Fron Park provide a range of events that day, with guests being able to enjoy a BMX Stunt Show, skateboard coaching, karaoke, archery sessions and more.

There was also axe throwing, a climbing wall, bushcraft sessions and an inflatable assault course at the park.

Meanwhile, over at the leisure centre, residents climbed upon the bouncy castle and the chance to enjoy a range of sports too including; badminton, tennis, squash, outside 5-a-side football, tug of war.

The free event was arranged by Holywell Town Council who hailed it as a 'great success'.

They said: "A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Party in Fron Park event at the weekend. Thanks also to everyone who contributed to the day.

"The event was a great success and it was wonderful to see so many families coming together to enjoy the event."
