A FLINTSHIRE town is paying tribute to its Olympic hero in the way which has become synonymous with the community by now.
Knitted postbox and bollard toppers have become the talk of the town down the years in Flint.
From D-Day celebrations to the King's Coronation, eye-catching toppers have regularly brought the streets of Flint to life.
And this time around, with hometown hero Jade Jones competing at the ongoing Olympic Games in Paris, the community has paid tribute once more in the way it knows best.
Nathan Griffiths and his team of dedicated knitters have once again come together to give Flint residents something to cheer about.

Jade Jones is, of course, a hero to the Flint community.

She has been selected in a four-person Great Britain taekwondo team for the Paris Games which is currently ongoing.
