Featuring Hugh Jackman and Wrexham AFC co-chairman Ryan Reynolds, it was no surprise that striker Paul Mullin made an appearance in the latest installation of the popular franchise.
The surprise part saw masked cameo Mullin star as 'Welshpool' - a Welsh version of Ryan's character, Deadpool.

Fellow player Ollie Palmer also made a debut appearance as a bartender in the background - a glimpse only true Wrexham fans would notice.

The brief scenes were a fantastic tribute to the north Wales football club and newfound Welsh fans of Ryan Reynolds after he bought the Wrexham club back in 2020 with It's Always Sunny star Rob McElhenney.
Since the takeover, the club's subsequent promotions have been cheered on overseas thanks to the award-winning docuseries 'Welcome to Wrexham.'
