WE asked Leader readers for photos of their furry friends on Friday (July 26) for National Dog Photography Day and you did not disappoint.
There were hundreds of responses to our Facebook post with people keen to show off their pooches.
National Dog Photography Day has been celebrated since 2018 when it was founded by professional dog photographer Kerry Jordan, with the purpose of celebrating the rise in popularity of owners taking photos of their dogs.
It’s also a great way to offer a guilt-free opportunity for folks all over the world to flood the internet with photos of their dogs, which can never be a bad thing!
We’ve put together a gallery with some of our favourite responses but thank you to everyone who got involved and shared their pet pictures with us.
