TO CELEBRATE the release of Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine, a special flower installation has been situated at Holt Road roundabout in the heart of Wrexham.
The Wrexham community will be able to enjoy the installation throughout Britain in Bloom from now until the beginning of September.
To mark the film’s release and the installation of the blooming Wrexham roundabout, Country Living investigated the ongoing trend for guerilla gardening.
The magazine interviewed expert gardener Lucy Willcox, who reflected on the positive power of the movement and its ability to brighten up urban spaces and bring communities together.
Cllr Nigel Williams, Lead member for Economy and Regeneration at Wrexham Council said: “I’m sure the flower installation will have people and pollinators flocking to visit.
"It’s wonderful to have this creative floral works in the heart of Wrexham. Wrexham has strong links with Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds – who is co-owner of Wrexham AFC, making this all the more special.”
Marvel Studios’ “Deadpool & Wolverine” delivers the ultimate, iconic, cinematic team-up throwdown in cinemas from July 25th.
Shawn Levy directs “Deadpool & Wolverine,” which stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen.

Kevin Feige, Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy and Lauren Shuler Donner produce with Louis D’Esposito, Wendy Jacobson, Mary McLaglen, Josh McLaglen, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, George Dewey and Simon Kinberg serving as executive producers.
The film is written by Wrexham AFC co-chairman Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells and Shawn Levy.
Wrexham Council ask if you are passing by or visiting the display please be mindful of other road users and pedestrians, and only use designated crossing areas if you are on foot.
