MOTORISTS are facing lengthy delays on the A483 approaching the Posthouse roundabout this afternoon (Thursday, July 25).
Northbound congestion is stretching from the Belgrave traffic lights to near the Rossett junction.
Witnesses state that a broken down car is the cause of the congestion.
Traffic monitoring service is reporting delays of around 30 minutes in the area.
As of 4.30pm, traffic remains very heavy in the area - with delays of around 40 minutes expected.
As of 5pm, Inrix is reporting: "A483 Wrexham Road Northbound partially blocked, long delays due to obstruction on the road from J7 B5102 (Rossett, Rossett) to A55 J38 (Posthouse Roundabout, Chester)."
