WREXHAM AFC co-chairman Ryan Reynolds says a Premier League star would be 'warmly embraced' at the north Wales club.
The Deadpool star and friend and fellow actor Rob McElhenney took over as co-chairmen of Wrexham in February 2021.
And, since then, the club has enjoyed great success - winning back-to-back promotions and even securing its own documentary (Welcome to Wrexham).
The Wrexham name is now known all around the world thanks to that documentary and the takeover by the Hollywood duo.
And this week, as he sat down with Hugh Jackman for an interview with the Premier League's social media team, Ryan thought he would try his luck and attempt to secure a major signing for his beloved Reds.
Ryan and Hugh - who are starring in the Deadpool and Wolverine film due to be released this week - were showing their admiration for Liverpool FC great Mo Salah.

When asked which PL footballer he would be, Australian actor Hugh - who is himself something of a Wrexham fan - said: "Mo Salah. To even be in the same sentence as you is incredible."
He added: "I think you're awesome and I think you're amazing and please, please, please respond to my DM's."

Ryan then cheekily adds: "Ryan Reynolds, co-chairman Wrexham AFC. Mo, you would be warmly embraced at the Racecourse Ground in north Wales."
By now, Salah is one of Liverpool's greatest ever players, having scored 207 goals for in 337 matches for the Reds.
The Egyptian has also won a Premier League title, a Champions League, an FA Cup and the EFL Cup with the club.
