Wrexham city centre is preparing for the return of the Darganfod/Discover Science Festival this summer.

Tickets are now available for the family-friendly event hosted by Tŷ Pawb and Xplore! Science Discovery Centre, which is set to take place on August 3 and August 4, 2024.

The festival will be a mix of interactive shows, hands-on science activities, art workshops and much more.

Among the event highlights is 'Braintastic,' an exhibition designed to amaze attendees with multi-sensory tricks and visual illusions.

Another event is Sonic Spider which will allow participants to play and listen to 'the world’s first eight-legged musical instrument' and explore the mind of the female orb web spider through sound.

For those with a passion for physics, they can join acclaimed particle physicist and science communicator, Sam Gregson for a fast-paced, interactive, and educational physics show with a hint of comedy.
