FLINTSHIRE County Council has confirmed essential roadworks will commence in Connah's Quay this August.
From Tuesday, August 6 carriageway resurfacing works will take place on Wepre Lane from Ffordd Newydd to The Wepre Bar and Grill.
Weather permitting, this will last for approximately two-weeks with delays likely in the area.

To facilitate the works a road closure will be in place together with a signed diversion route between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday to ensure the safety of the workforce engaged in this operation, and the highway user.
A route diversion will be in place, clearly signposted in the area, taking motorists back onto Wepre Lane via Village Road, Connah's Quay Road and Mold Road.
Access to individual properties and businesses will be maintained throughout.
