POLICE have stepped up patrols in a Wrexham village hit by reports of 'inconsiderate parking'.
Earlier this year, designated new 'no stopping' zones were implemented outside schools in Wrexham in a bid to deal with problem parking.
However, the problem has persisted both outside school grounds and in villages across the county, police say.
The latest to be struck by the problem is the village of Penley, where officers have stepped up patrols in a bid to tackle the issue.
PCSO's have been on the beat at Parc Pendas this week.

PCSO Dean Sawyer of the NWP Wrexham Rural team said: "North Wales Police patrols completed in the Penley area this week. This is after reports of inconsiderate and dangerous parking."
Other sites in Acton, Borras, Gresford and more are also under monitoring by police due to parking issues.
Wrexham council officials say it is currently in the process of erecting no stopping signage at further locations to warn motorists that it is enforceable by traffic wardens who will issue tickets to cars parked there.
