A stray sheep was returned to its grateful owner - in quite unique circumstances.
The South Flintshire Police team released details of the strange incident, which happened on Monday.
A spokesman confirmed officers attended a "road disruption" in Cefn y Bedd following reports of a sheep on the road near a bad bend.

On arrival, the sheep was located and captured by the police.
The spokesman added: "It was placed into the cell of the police car and returned to its owner who was very grateful.
"Baaaaaaad sheep..."
Images released by the team show an officer carrying the animal off the road, and the sheep's reaction at finding itself in the cell!
