A POLICE chase in a Flintshire town resulted in an arrest being made this morning (July 17).
North Wales Police have confirmed that they were 'pursuing a wanted man' in Flint.
An eyewitness told the Leader that they had seen a vehicle 'narrowly missing knocking people over' and 'mounting the pavement' around Church Street.
They added that the incident came to a head at the cenotaph, where the man was arrested.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "Police were pursuing a wanted man in the Flint area, who had made off from officers in a vehicle.
"After a short time, he was located and arrested."
