THE WREXHAM Police FC team have attempted to persuade Ryan Reynolds to 'make an appearance' for them.
The Deadpool star took over as co-chairman of Wrexham AFC alongside friend and fellow actor Rob McElhenney in February 2021.
Since then, the club has enjoyed a title win, two promotions and its very own successful documentary (Welcome to Wrexham).
And it appears that Ryan has well and truly fallen in love with the beautiful game in the process.
During the promo tour for the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine film, Ryan put his football skills to the test in Brazil.
Whilst there, he and fellow cast members Emma Corrin and Hugh Jackman and director Shaun Levy hung out with David Luiz and Pedro Guilherme and even took penalties.
That left the Wrexham Police FC team wondering what could be in store for the future.

Replying to Ryan's post about his visit to South America on X (previously Twitter), the team wrote: "Getting some practice in for when you appear for @wrexhampolicefc?"
The actor replied; "Just that one kick required a three hour nap and an IV bag."
The team then responded again by saying: "That’s not a no then? We have a shirt ready for you @VancityReynolds"
