POLICE have issued an update on why the air ambulance was called to an incident in Flintshire yesterday (July 17).
Emergency services and the air ambulance were called to an incident in Connah's Quay on Tuesday afternoon, near Wepre Park.
Now North Wales Police have revealed they were called to the scene of a road traffic collision in which a man had been injured by a vehicle that had apparently rolled back.
A spokesperson for Flintshire North's policing team said: "Locals may have seen Helimed overheard yesterday this was due to an RTC where a male had been injured by a vehicle that had rolled back.
"If Police are already in attendance at an incident, or sometimes when we're not we will often be asked to transport the medical professionals on board to the scene."
