A STRETCH of the A55 in Flintshire was closed this evening (Saturday, July 13) due to a "police incident".
The carriageway was closed in both directions between J35 A550 (Dobshill) and J36 (Broughton) for about an hour following th incident.
Traffic Wales urged motorists travelling this way to plan ahead and expect delays to their journey.
Witnesses state that an air ambulance landed near the scene of the incident.
Traffic Wales confirmed at 6.40pm that the carriageway has now reopened in both directions.
