WREXHAM Council has explained why residents may have seen generic bin wagons and "smaller vehicles" picking up recycling.
The local authority said in recent days, other vehicles have been used to collect recycling in some areas due to a shortage of available recycling trucks.
However, residents are informed that recycling will still be recyclyed in the normal fashion.

A Wrexham Council spokesperson said: "Over the past few days, you may have seen us using bin wagons and smaller vehicles to collect recycling in some areas. This is because we currently have a number of recycling vehicles unavailable – waiting for repairs or maintenance.
"Please don’t be alarmed – your recycling will still be recycled in the normal way. We’re just having to use bin wagons and other vehicles to cover some of our rounds.
"Thank you for your patience."
