SIXTH form students at a specialist high school in Flintshire have celebrated end of year with prom.
The Ysgol Maes Hyfryd event at RiverDee Centre in Flint, featured a red carpet, mocktails, ice cream station, chocolate fountain, photo booth and disco.
Headteacher at the Flint school, Helen Millard, said: "Another successful prom was held at the RiverDee Centre for our pupils who are leaving us this year.
"It was a great evening where the group of leavers were also accompanied by their friends from the school to make it a fun event for everyone. Pupils arrived all dressed up and ready to party the night away with lots of dancing along the way.

"Our sincere thanks to Ben and his team of amazing staff at the RiverDee, as they are not only great hosts for our special event but they also support us throughout the whole year and we are extremely grateful for this.
"The prom event marked the start our final farewells for our leavers, as we then also celebrated with a graduation ceremony in school a few days later. Again, the event was supported by a range of people from the community who support our pupils throughout the year, offering them work placements and even a special award that is presented each year from Airbus in Broughton.

"We are so appreciative of our supporters from the local community, as it means we get to access the community and youngsters have the opportunity of many great experiences.
"We are so fortunate in school to have such a great staff team too who also ensure our pupils get the best experiences they can. We wish our leavers all the very best as they begin their new exciting chapter."
