A FIRE which occurred in a Flintshire town earlier this week is being treated as arson, police have confirmed.
North Wales Police say an investigation is now underway into the incident which took place in Buckley on Tuesday (July 9).
The fire took place at Prince of Wales Court in the early hours of the morning that day.
It had started in a bin store before spreading to a flat, officers have said.
The case is now being treated as arson, with police suspecting that the fire was 'started intentionally'.

Nobody was injured during the fire and the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were at the scene between 3.40am and 5.15am.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "A fire which occurred at Prince of Wales Court, Buckley in the early hours of Tuesday 9th July 2024, is now being treated as a criminal investigation of Arson.
"The fire which started in a bin store and spread to a flat above, is now believed to have been started intentionally.
