A HAIR stylist from Wrexham has been named one of five finalists in line for a prestigious hair dressing award.
Emma Jones, from Wrexham is one of the five national finalists for the Goldwell Colour Creative Awards 2024.
The finalists were announced last week, with the winners set to be confirmed at an event in London on July 29.
Emma, who started at New Wave Hair when she was 15, has become one of the top stylists at the salon in Wrexham.
She is up for the creative colourist of the year award, as part of the Goldwell National Awards.
Being nominated has been described as a "great achievement", with thousands of entries being made from across the UK and Ireland.
The final announcement and winners will see Emma go to London, where she will meet with the other finalists.

If Emma gets gold at this event, she will go forward and represent the UK in the Goldwell Global awards.
Emma said: "I’m absolutely amazed and happy just to be in the top five in the UK and Ireland.
"It’s such a huge achievement, I feel privileged to be in the top five regardless of if I place or not on July 29."
