A FLINTSHIRE bookshop which burnt down three years ago has moved back into its own premises.
The Berwyn Bookshop devastatingly lost more than £1million worth of rare and second-hand books in a huge fire at its warehouse in Buckley in November of 2021.
The business was saved after it found a home in the Cafi Isa community facility in Mynydd Isa.
Since then, it has flourished and now has opened its own premises on Mill Lane in Buckley.
Its recent opening day was attended by actor and writer Ian Puleston-Davies - best known for his role as Owen Armstrong in Coronation Street.
Emma Littler, co-owner of The Berwyn Bookshop, said: "Our opening day in Buckley was fantastic. The town came in their numbers, including mayor Emma Preece, which was a brilliant welcome.
"Thank you so everyone that's been in to see us, and a big thank you to Ian Puleston-Davies who officially opened our door, and to Sweet Tooth for supplying the best brownies and blondies.
"This is the start of our next chapter, and we're very excited."
Numerous people sent well-wishing messages on social media. One person said: "It’s a gorgeous little place. You’ve done a brilliant job. Congratulations and wish you all the luck in the world."
