A FLINTSHIRE high school has held its Year 11 end of school prom.
Argoed High School's event, at Clawdd Offa Farm, in Penyffordd, saw 80 students attending the event. As the students arrived, some in sports cars and limousines, as well as other modes of transport, they were all excited to be joining their friends for this momentous celebration of their time together at high school.

The event was organised by Julie Bellis, head of Year 11. She said: "We are so proud of these amazing, talented students who have shown resilience and kindness as they have navigated their way through high school and all its ups and downs. They all look incredible this evening; they are a credit to their families and to the school and we wish them every happiness and success for the future."
Howard Goodson, assistant headteacher, added: "We had a fantastic prom event at Clawdd Offa Farm. The evening was a huge success, and the students were an absolute credit to the school."
