A WREXHAM barbers is hosting a free haircut evening in aid of supporting men's mental health.
On Wednesday, July 31 Gwersyllt Barbers is collaborating with mental health advocate Richard 'Richy' Harries for a 'Free haircut' event for men in the Wrexham area.
It will be a night of free haircuts and plenty of biscuits to encourage new friendships while creating a safe space for people to open up about their worries and troubles.
All costs are being covered by Richy himself after the barbers agreed to reduce the price by 50% for such a worthy cause.
He said: "Times can be really tough. It's amazing how a fresh cut and interacting with people can take the edge off people who are struggling daily."
After experiencing poor mental health for a number of years, Richy is determined to make a difference after witnessing an increase in the number of individuals admitting they too have found it difficult to seek support.

He also works with local businesses to receive sponsors for the events including Ollie Palmer's Wxm Clothing, as well as receiving meal vouchers from the Lemon Tree and the Fat Boar.
The haircut event will begin at 6pm. Advanced bookings are required by contacting Richy Harries on Facebook, or emailing wrexham3587@gmail.com
