A PERSON who was 'repeatedly' abusive towards staff at Flintshire pubs has now been banned.

Pubwatch schemes are local, independent groups formed of people working in licensed premises.

The main objectives of the groups are to:

  • Tackle and prevent anti social behaviour and criminal activity
  • Promote safe drinking environments for customers and secure working environments for staff
  • Improve communication and sharing information between licensees

Members of the Flintshire Pubwatch team held their monthly meeting at the Horse and Jockey in Buckley on June 25.

During that meeting, it was decided that appropriate action should be taken against an individual who has been 'repeatedly abusive' towards staff.
