MORE mixed weather is set to be on the way according to the Met Office.

This week has been a mix of sunshine, showers and cloud across Wrexham and Flintshire, and that looks set to continue in the early parts of next week.

Monday (July 8) looks set to stay dry, with sunny spells in the afternoon and highs of around 20C.

However spells of heavy rain are set to hit on Tuesday throughout the day. Temperatures are set to remain around 20C, but the showers are likely to be in action all day.

Wednesday through to the back end of the week is forecast to be cloudy, but dry, with highs of around 18-19C.
