A BODY has been found during a police search for an 85-year-old man.
North Wales Police had been searching for George Fewtrell, who is from the Cheshire area.
He was known to have made a long journey on foot from the Neston area to Flintshire between Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26.
The last confirmed sighting police have of him on CCTV is at 2.11am on Wednesday (June 26) walking along the pavement opposite the Texaco fuel station on Holway Road, Holywell.
Now, officers searching for missing 85-year-old George have sadly discovered a body this afternoon (Friday, July 5).

They added that formal identification is yet to take place, but that Mr Fewtrell's family have been informed.
Superintendent Jon Bowcott said: “Formal identification is yet to take place, but George’s family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
“This is not the outcome any of us had hoped for, including the dedicated team of officers searching for him.
“I would like to thank the public for their support and clear, genuine concern for George during the search, which has been vital and helped us progress the investigation.
“Most importantly, all of our thoughts remain with George’s family at this incredibly sad and difficult time, and I would ask that their privacy is respected.”
