THE Flintshire Bridge is set to undergo essential inspections and works over the coming month.
Flintshire County Council has confirmed that the A548 bridge will have lane closures in place for the next four weeks to allow for the essential works to take place.
The lane closures will be in place from Monday (July 8) to allow an inspection to take place, before the council carry out maintenance work.
The work has been placed together by the council in a bid to minimise disruption.
A spokesperson for Flintshire County Council said: "The A548 Flintshire Bridge will undergo an essential routine inspection starting next week (Monday 8th July).
"Lane closures will be in place for 4 weeks to allow specialist contractors to undertake inspections and the Council will also be carrying out essential maintenance work at the same time to minimise any disruption caused."
