THERE WAS 'a dream come true' for one Wrexham singer-songwriter last weekend as she performed a set at Glastonbury.

The talented Cara Hammond first began writing songs when she was just 11 years old.

She then went on to self-release three EP’s independently and a series of singles through the indie label, Oswaldo.

During the pandemic, the 27-year-old learnt how to produce, leading to her first self produced EP ‘twenty four hours’.

Influenced by female artists such as Lianne La Havas and Lana Del Rey, Cara's music can be described as an 'eclectic mix of alt pop, indie folk and neo soul'.

Cara's music has also been featured on 7 Spotify New Music Friday’s across Asia, been A listed on national BBC Radio and featured in the BBC Introducing's Hotlist.

And her career reached another significant milestone last Saturday (June 29) as she performed a set at the world -famous Glastonbury festival.
