A PUB owner in Wrexham has undergone a refurbishment of its beer garden to mark a year of trading.
The Dog and Pickle, formerly known as the Nags Head, in Lavister reopened it's doors in June of last year.
Prior to opening, there was significant refurbishment inside the pub, as well as the quirky name change.
Now after celebrating being open for a year, owner Steve Lewis decided it was time to spruce up the outside of the pub in a bid to make it nicer for it's customers.
Steve said: "We opened a year ago now, when we changed the name from the Nags Head to the Dog and Pickle and we did a refurb in the inside of the pub.
"Now a year on we have had a refurb of all the outside area, as we want it to be more private and a better place to sit."
Since opening, the pub has completed a lot of charity work and is continuing to do so following the support of local residents.

When asked on how the first year trading has gone, Steve was full of praise for the locals.
He added: "The local support has been great and that’s why we wanted to give back and do free coffee mornings in support of local charities.
"They are every Tuesday at 11am and we offer free tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits for anybody that wants to pop down and just socialise.
"We are also supporting the Rosset swimming club at the moment, which does lots of great work with all different types of children and facilitates their needs to get them swimming."
