A CANCER support group in Wrexham were "delighted" to have helped secure tests for several participants last month.

With massive help from the Graham Fulford Charity, the PSA Testing Event at The Trevor Arms, funded by the Wrexham Prostate Cancer Support Group for members of the public in the Wrexham community, proved a "massive success".

65 tests were organised, with two participants being flagged up as needing attention and were signposted for a review with their GP.

Secretary Phil Jones said: “We were delighted to be able to promote the need for more men to get checked out for early signs of prostate cancer and due to the events success we are already considering hosting a second event.”
