DOLLY Parton has made a special announcement after being recruited by Wrexham AFC's co-chairmen.

After discovering her Welsh heritage, Dolly Parton has featured in the latest comedic promotional video by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

In a video from Maximum Effort, Dolly receives a gift from the "fake" Welsh Board of Tourism - a one of a kind Wrexham AFC scarf.

The star announces: "All episodes of the hit docu-series 'Welcome to Wrexham' are now streaming on Hulu."

The video proceeds to show clips from the series highlighting the "real" city and story from north Wales as she is joined by Rob and Ryan on screen, referred to by Dolly as "Mac" and "the other one."

The country music icon recently revealed she may have Welsh ancestry in Conwy on her mother's side of the family, according to the singer's niece, Jada Star.

"All the juicy details" are discussed in her new documentary 'Here I Am', available on BBC Two.
